Are you waiting for the next train or you have a stop of at least 2 hours in Howrah station, then it best to move your foot toward this beautiful place full of colors.If you love street photography then it would give you the best experience.

                    

Just walk 1 km along the Howrah Bridge, you will get the place we are talking about.It is Mallick Ghat Flower Market, Howrah.It is considered as one of the biggest and busiest flower streets and market of  India.

Though in morning itself the place is full of flower dirt, mud and left out packages, buckets and much more but still the fresh air with fresh flowers make you feel fresh.The walk along this street  would make you feel untired of last night  journey if u just had .

The place is filled with a number of small vendors, big vendors, wholesale, owners from the different part of the state .Since it is well connected to  Howrah station and ferry of Hooghly River it becomes easier for vendors and wholesaler to carry the consignment to the market easily.A large number of customers visit the market all over the state every day.

It has been a wonderful experience for me to be here at  Mallick Ghat Flower Market, Flower Street of Kolkata.I had been seeing this market from the bus since my first visit of 2010 to Kolkata for writing the engg. entrance exam. Though on my 1st visit to the market on  23rd April 2017 was quite hesitating as I walk there alone. But I had no choice and I had to make it. I travel all along the way alone in the market and experienced it.

The place is awesome for street photography lover and if you are on the 1st day of your story of street photography than no place is better than this in Kolkata.
